Hello all,

There is a reason that the title of this e-mail is generic. Instead of endorsing a single event I am happy to announce that we will continue with the winter swim events. The next is scheduled for Sunday December 5 from 7 pm to 9 pm and with further events scheduled for February 13 and March 27. Despite a small hick up with the hot tub (filters had been sitting idle too long, which will be fixed for our next event), everyone had a great time.

Our next upcoming event is the November 13 bare bowling event. We have been able to secure the same bowling alley we have used for the last few years and they are looking forward to seeing us again. Your admission price for the event includes a bowling ball and rental shoes. It’s an eight lane bowling alley with a small snack bar kept at a nice temperature for some bowling fun. We have been able to keep the admission price the same as the past years, being $13 for AAN-TNS member or $15 for non-members (per person) when pre-registering prior to Wednesday November 10. If you elect to pay at the door then the admission prices will be $5 higher. For more details, including location of the venue, please contact Hidden Springs at hsevents@frontier.com The venue is situated in the greater Portland/Vancouver area.

Hidden Springs Indoor nude recreation night

Hello All,

Our indoor nude recreation night is quickly approaching. On Sunday October 24 we will have our nude recreation night using a pool, hot tub and Sauna from 7 pm until 9 pm. The amenities have been reduced from previous years, resulting in a reduced rental price for Hidden Springs, which we pass on to you. The admission price is $8 per person for AANR/TNS members and $10 for non members when pre-registering on or before Wednesday October 20. After the pre-registration deadline, the price will increase by $5.

For more information, including the facility we use, please contact Hidden Springs at hsevents@frontier.com. The actual facility is located in the greater Portland/Vancouver area

Hidden Spring indoor nude recreation nights and bare bowling

We’ve had an interesting summer with the sale of the Athletic club that we have been using for out indoor nude recreation nights. This same facility is again available to us with reduced amenities however. For this season we will have the availability over the pool one hot tub and one sauna for our nude recreation nights. Since the use of the amenities was reduced, we have been able to reduce our rental price and are passing this on to you.

The first indoor nude recreation night will be held on October 24 from 7 pmuntil 9 pm. The cost this year will be $8 person for AANR/TNS members and $10 for non-members when pre-registering prior to Wednesday October 20. Admission at the door will be $5 higher than the pre-registration price.

Fortunately our bowling venue remained the same and we have reserved the following Saturday nights: November 13, January 29 and March 5 all events run from 7 pm until 9 pm. The cost for the bare bowling event has remained the same at $13 per person for AANR/TNS members and $15 for non-members, also with admission at the door being $5 higher than the pre-registration price. For the bowling events you can pay for all events combined up to the pre-registration deadline of November 10.

Bonnie Luce of Hidden Springs quietly passed away today September 12, 2010 just 4 days short of her 90th birthday in the company of her immediate family.

Bonnie and her husband Robert (Bob) Luce joined the ASA/NSA (now AANR & AANR-NW) back in 1955 through Restful Haven Health Club. Bob passed away five years previously. Bonnie had worked at local, regional and national levels of the nudist movement for many decades.

She is an NSA Hall of Fame recipient.

A celebration of her life will be held this Friday morning (September 17) mostly among family. For more details of exact time and place email paul@paultuttle.us .
