AANR-NW convention is just around the corner!

The Olympic Trials will be in full swing during the AANR-NW Convention.  The Convention Visitors Association of Lane County has sent out news reports that lodging will be at a premium.

If you plan to rent a room in town during the convention you might want to do so as soon as possible.

The AANR-NW Government Affairs Team (GAT) is hosting a GAT Day July 3, 2008 at the Willamettans Family Nudist Resort.  This date was chosen to combine the GAT Day with the AANR-NW convention.

This GAT Day event requires pre-registration.  A check in the amount of $25 must be included with each registration form. 

AANR-NW GAT will pay the cost for each club to have one participant. The check will be returned to the club if pre-registered attendee participates on July 3.  

The reason for this requirement is that the GAT DAY includes a two-hour Child Sexual Abuse, Education and Policy workshop that AANR-NW GAT must sign a contract for and pre-register participants.  The only way a club will end up paying is if they pre-register and do not show up or wish to pay for additional participants.  Individuals may pre-register and pay the required $25 fee. 

An informational packet including the registration form has been sent to each AANR-NW Club.  If you are interested in attending please contact your club President.

If you want to participate and pay your own fee you can request that a packet be sent to your home address.  If you are not able to attend and would like to provide a scholarship for someone else to attend Simply email AANR-NW GAT Chair Shirley Gauthier @ sherbog@msn.com.
