AANR-NW-SOLV-Rooster Rock State Park

Celebrate Earth Day

Place: Roster Rock State Park

Date: April 17-2010

Time: 9:00 AM-1:00 PM

AANR-NW celebrates another year of adopting Rooster Rock State Park. Celebrate another adoption by saving the above date on your calendars. Rooster Rock State Park Ranger Glenn Littrell has a list of projects for this Earth Day event. Projects include removing invasive species, trail work, planting trees and litter patrols. We will also be educating park users to the AANR-NW welcome to the park cards that include information on how to report inappropriate or illegal behaviors.

Bring your own water in a reusable container, work gloves and wear suitable shoes and clothing for the weather and work projects. AANR-NW will be supplying apple juice and cookies.

Go to http://www.solv.org/programs/event_details.asp?eventID=17136 for directions to Rooster Rock Park and further information.

It really helps if you commit early and rsvp to Mark Buchweitz at rooster.sauvie@yahoo.com.
