Glassbar Beach

February 14, I received a call from Lane County Waste Management Division Manager Patti Hansen. Lane County Waste Management is responsible for the parking area used by Glassbar visitors. Patti called to inform us that the gate closing off entrance to the parking area would be installed tomorrow.

This was not a surprise as I reported gate concerns via enews on a January 17^th posting. I reported in the previous post that I was assured that it was not their intent to restrict nudity or access to the beach. Bring Recycling recently relocated to another location, which provided the county an opportunity to deal with some negative issues in the parking area and make some transitional changes.

Stayed tuned for future news concerning Glassbar Beach and surrounding properties.
