No! It was not an April Fools joke and we take all our public lands adoptions very seriously. Mark noted that, "These new adoptions will help to solidify AANR's commitment to clothing-optional recreation on public lands, and show that nudists can be valuable members of the community." =20=20=20 Our two Columbia Riverkeeper adoptions include Rooster Rock State Park and Collins Beach on Sauvie Island. As Riverkeepers, we will be monitoring water quality and native as well as invasive species along our beaches.
Columbia Riverkeeper's mission is to restore and protect the water quality of the Columbia River and all life connected to it, from the headwaters to the Pacific Ocean.=20
AANR-NW GAT thanks Mark for volunteering to participate in the required training program and choosing to partner with AANR.=20=20
Additional AANR public lands adoptions include Rooster Rock State Park Clothing Optional Beach through the Oregon State Parks Department "Adopt-A-Park" program. We also adopted the clothing optional beach on Sauvie Island and Rooster Rock State Park clothing optional beach through the SOLV "Adopt-A-River" program. =20=20=20 A special thank you to AANR and AANR-NW dues paying members who support the adoptions and AANR-NW successes on public lands.
