The number of people we talked with and distributed literature to says a lo= t about the success of this visit:
On Friday over 400 people took materials and on Saturday more than 800 did so. An article including some pictures will appear in a future issue of The Bulletin.
Advocacy Tools Working for AANR and Working for You This morning I took a =93refresher=94 course on the many new tools availabl= e to AANR with our StateNet legislative tracking service. With these tools, mor= e information about proposed bills AND regulations at the state level is at our fingertips than ever before. From quickly checking when a legislature i= s in or out of session or just in recess, to keeping sub-lists of bills to watch, it is a powerful resource that we can put to work when advocating fo= r our members and clubs. Our many volunteers who send us e-mails about what they see in their local papers and online is yet another layer of a very valued part of what we do. Thanks for the many messages and updates you=92= ve already sent on this year.
—————————————————————————= – –=20
Carolyn Hawkins, Public Relations Coordinator=20
CLUB BROCHURES If you would like your club brochures displayed on the nude cruise, please send approximately 30 to the AANR office attention Carolyn Hawkins by February 2.
