By admin at 6:33 am on November 23, 2006 | No comments

The next indoor nude recreation night is coming up on December 3rd=20 from 7 pm until 9 pm.=20
For additional relaxation we will have a licensed massage therapist=20 on the premises with her chair massages available.
The last event was a loss to Hidden Springs and we as a club like to=20 keep these events going without losing money. This means that we=20 need attendant for these events. Finding an Athletic club willing to=20 host nudist events is not an easy task and it would be a pity to see=20 these events disappear because of insufficient attendance. Therefore=20 let's see what we nudists are made off and come out in droves for=20 the next indoor nude recreation night.=20
Pricing is still at the reasonable amount of $10 per person for=20 AANR/TNS members and $12 for non member when pre registering. If you=20 elect to pay at the event itself then the prices are $15 and $17=20 respectively.=20
Contact Hidden Springs at hsevents@verizon.net for registration and=20 detailed location information. AANR Weekly Report for November 17, 2006

By admin at 6:05 am on | No comments
AANR Weekly Report for November 17, 2006

Erich Schuttauf, Executive Director
Happy Thanksgiving – A week early!
We want to extend wishes for a very happy Thanksgiving holiday to you and your family. In the spirit of the holiday, the Association made a donation to a local project that will provide a holiday meal to nearly 200 homeless in the Orlando – Kissimmee community.
The office will be closed next Thursday and Friday as we celebrate with our families. Due to the shortened week, there will be no Executive Director's report.
Upcoming TANR Conference at Laguna del Sol
There's still time to make arrangements to attend the annual conference of the Trade Association for Nude Recreation (TANR) to be held this year at Laguna del Sol, November 29-December 2. This is a great time to take advantage of excellent seminars in running your club, share best practices, or even if you're contemplating starting your own club. For details, please contact Carol DeAldana at the AANR office at AcctRec1@aanr.com.
Learning from Each Other – The UPS Hoax
Many of you have called or written in to the AANR office with observations and experiences following the story we ran two weeks ago about scams and problem bookings entitled "Undressed but not Unwary." That story is now available in the Club Services, Library of Materials, section of www.aanr.com <http://www.aanr.com/> .
This week one of our clubs contacted us with news of a hoax that has been circulating both on the Internet and by fax and e-mail about the UPS (United Parcel Service) uniform hoax. The notice arrives bearing some "official" trappings, including the name and title of an official in the Department of Homeland Security. The notice advises that a huge quantity of UPS uniforms has been sold on eBay, and that officials fear the uniforms 05 be used for nefarious purposes to gain access to businesses and premises under the guise of making deliveries.
The club that contacted us did AANR the favor of calling their local UPS depot, which confirmed that the story is a hoax that has been circulating for some time. Our office also did a check on the Web site <a href=http://www.snopes.com

We're grateful for the added measure of support this lends to AANR, making us even larger and more credible. Thanks Sandy Bares!
AANR Support for State Senator Vicky Walker gets mention in "The Oregonian"
This week "The Oregonian" contained a brief mention of AANR's support for Oregon State Senator Vicky Walker, who is running for re-election. She has honored the Willamettans club with several visits and has a long track record of hard work in the state senate. When asked about the support, she answered that there is an AANR club in her district and that they are good neighbors in their community. This is but one example of how AANR is building relationships with those in government from both parties to strengthen our ability to advocate for nude recreation with the people who count.
See: http://www.oregonlive.com/living/oregonian/index.ssf?/base/living/1162261539 256400.xml&coll=7
Linda Berry, Director of Publications
YOUR CHILI RECIPES WANTED
In an upcoming issue of The Bulletin, we would like to feature chili recipes on the Cooking in the Nude page.
