It was just wonderful and I enjoyed reading the cards a couple of times and looking at my flowers. Thanks also for you prayers, thoughts and phone calls, and I look forward to seeing many of you in November.<br>SOUTHERN WOMEN'S SHOW<br>This week we are participating with FANR in the Southern Woman's Show in Orlando. It has been a very busy show so far and it continues through Sunday.<br> NRPA (National Recreation and Parks Assoc)<br>Thanks to Steve Hubbard and his volunteers for staffing the NRPA trade show in Seattle. We spoke with Steve this morning and he has had four volunteers each day. He reports it has been a very busy show.<br> Patricia Orner – Government Affairs Coordinator<br>State Legislation and News From State Net<br>Only NJ and DC are in Regular Session. MA is in Informal Session. OH is in Skeleton Session. Prefiling and drafting has begun in CO, FL, KY, MT, ND, NV and VA with 111 bills prefiled last week.<br>There are no elections scheduled during the next three weeks.<br> The Council of State Governments<br>AANR staff has launched planning with AANR-West and Arizona State GAT Chair, Bev Price, to implement the exhibit and attendance at The Council of State Governments Annual State Trends and Leadership Forum. This year's meeting, Nov. 30-Dec 3 in Phoenix, AZ, will include an off site presentation by the Arizona Department of Water Resources and an informative overview of the Arizona Department of Water Resources, the Central Arizona Project, and the Salt River Project.
