Hidden Springs will be hosting this cleanup event in partnership with SOLV and AANR-NW. Previously volunteers asked that a beach clean up be planned for a weekday for those that work weekends. Hidden Springs listened and this will be the first weekday beach clean up hosted by an AANR affiliated club. A day pass is required and carpooling suggested. Stay tuned to AANR-NW enews for details. Once again we'll be working with our friends: the Oregon State Park employees, Volunteers in the Gorge and Friends of AANR. Registration starts at 9:00 a.m. at the entrance to the clothing optional area. We will work until noon and end with our annual hot dog roast. Following some fun time at the park we will carpool/convoy to Restful Haven for a great $5 dinner, hot tub, and social. In appreciation for the time, energy and work provided by volunteers on the beaches, Restful Haven will not be charging ground fees for volunteers. Volunteers choosing to spend the night will be charged campsite fees. The following morning, (August 6) we head to Sauvie Island to work on the beach. The afternoon will include playtime! Stay tuned to AANR-NW enews for details. Once again thanks to Restful Haven Health Club for their generous support of AANR-NW GAT.
