The water has receded, but debris and trees need to be removed. As we reported before, their members retreated to safer ground. Unfortunately, Linda Piety owner of Running Bare B&amp;B in Long Beach, Mississippi, told us that her Inn is no longer there.<br>Offers of help and support have come into the office in Kissimmee. Many individuals and clubs have also called with offers of lodging and work. Please call the AANR office regarding donations, work opportunities and lodging. <br>AANR 75th Anniversary Stamp now available! In commemoration of this historic year for AANR, the Association commissioned an all-new U.S. Postage Stamp from stamps.com. If you own, manage or are considering purchasing a business in the nude recreation industry, plan on attending the 2005 Trade Association for Nude Recreation Annual Conference at Caliente from 11 30 – 12 3, 2005. Ideas, information, seminars, great food, excellent accommodations and the opportunity to network with the leaders of the nudist community are a just a few of the reasons to attend this exciting event. Information will be sent out in the next club mailing.<br>Ruling Documents: At the end of the General Assembly 2005 many of the changes from the General Assembly 2004 (and all of the changes from 2005) went into effect. The AANR Bylaws, Procedure Manual and Official Forms have been updated and are available for download from the website, or if you wish an electronic copy or a hard copy, contact Nanette Wickersham in the AANR Office. <br>One-Member, One-Vote: Remember that in 2006 our elections will be directly by the members. This process, however, begins right now with those who wish to consider office filling out a Nomination Form, getting the required endorsements, and sending it to the AANR Office. Nomination forms for Officer positions, for Club Trustee and for Member Trustee are available for download from the website, or if you wish an electronic copy or a hard copy, contact Nanette in the AANR Office. Or, if you have already downloaded the AANR Official Forms, they are contained in pages 10a through 16a of that document.<br>Enhance your website and become part of a new group dedicated to learning how to bring MORE business to your club or region. E-mail me your interest and a preliminary e-mail will be sent out.<br>Please make changes to reflect our email address at AANR that were illustrated in the June Bulletin as we are no longer using the earth link email addresses. Excellent article!!!<br>I have been on vacation time in Maryland this past week and will also be assisting with a beach cleanup at Assateague on Saturday September 17. We have over 30 members from the area who have volunteered to help. If you are in the Assateague area, come and join us for this great cause.<br> From the desk of Patricia Orner, Government Affairs Coordinator – <a href=/group/AANR-NW-eNews/post?postID=pOK3H-500afgMIHowJlw-Axe29ymT3i4j3Qhdrdy66dI0swJ9ifhr2mSssFdNZjIjvcdAncoVvxk78H3>Government@aanr.com</a><br>CAT News<br>Assateague Beach Cleanup – September 17, 2005<br>Carolyn Hawkins is in MD and, if Hurricane Ophelia allows, the beach clean up will be a grand event. <br>With ten votes under the umbrella of the AANR corporate membership to Friends of Assateague State Park<br>(FOASP) – Carolyn will be coordinating voting in the election of 2006-7 officers at the clean up. <br>She will also solicit comments in support of the FOASP petition to keep the Seasonal Rangers David Tull and Tom Siegmund. If you have a member of your club interested in being a write in PLEASE let me know. <br>The deadline is 11-15-05.<br>Caroline County, MD passed their first legislation addressing adult-oriented businesses in their jurisdiction without the change in the language submitted by AANR. Not a complete defeat as we are on record and will follow up in early 2006 with an amendment. <br>As our fellow members continue to pick up the pieces of their shattered lives in the areas devastated by Katrina – there are many opportunities for CAT teams to help. I am sitting in under the AANR membership in the US Chamber of Commerce on two conference calls weekly so that as we know where help is available we will be prepared to help our members. Thanks to those who have already called the office to offer aid. Please let me know if your CAT team is involved in a project so that we can record all efforts and of course so that we 05 provide assistance where possible under the existing procedures manual.<br>Other News <br>The AANR 2006 budget cycle has officially begun and there are several areas under evaluation to support the continuation of the positive forward motion of our GAT/CAT teams. <br>IN THE HOPPER <br>There is 1 state and US in Regular Session.
