Press Release February 3, 2005

UNCLAD 2005
The SLUGS are pleased to announce – for the third year – a Nude Viewing Night of the UNCLAD 2005 Art Show held at the Gallery at Utsalady Bay on Camano Island. It is the 4th Annual Art Show Featuring the Nude Figure in Art — UNCLAD 2005 – The Fine Art of the Figure. The show runs for 2 weekends: March 19-20 & 26-27 and is open to the public from 10 AM to 6 PM. We have again arranged with the owners for a special viewing night for the Naturist and Nudist community where you 05 view the Unclad Art – unclad. The nude viewing night is on Saturday, March 26, 2005 from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Not only will there be sculpture, paintings, drawings, and photographs from artists across the country, but it is planned that there will be models and artists there doing life drawings – and maybe you will even get a chance to try your hand at drawing a nude model. Light refreshments – wine and cheese – will also be available. A donation of $5.00 per person would be appreciated to help pay the models. The web site for the show can be found at: http://www.uncladart.com/index.htm where you will find directions and a map to the gallery. For those of you who do not have access to the Internet, here are driving directions: Gallery at Utsalady Bay is located at 3 W. North Camano Drive on Camano Island, WA. It's about an hour drive north from Seattle or 2 hours south of Vancouver, B.C. You take a bridge to get to the island… there is NO FERRY! 1. From I-5, take Exit 212 to Stanwood/Camano Island and head West on SR532. 2. Continue on this road for 11 miles. You'll pass through the town of Stanwood and onto Camano Island. 3. You'll pass Camano Marine, and a big white church. Shortly after that, you'll take the RIGHT FORK onto North Camano Drive. (The fork is at Camano Gateway visitor's center) 4. Continue up, around, and down the hill. You'll pass The Little Store by the Bay. The studio is a bit further on the left — 3 W. North Camano Drive. 5. Questions? Call Gayle at (360) 387-8681. Fellow naturists and nudists – this is a great show and a once-a-year event. You don't want to miss this. It has been scheduled on a Saturday night this year so you don't have to contend with Friday night traffic like last year.
