AANR-NW GAT FALL REPORT Submitted by: Shirley Gauthier<br> The AANR-Northwest Government Affairs Team (GAT) has a full year of events in the planning. In addition to events the team will continue to focus on the following.<br>. On a regional level we will be concentrating additional time, energy and finances on Idaho, Montana, and Alaska.  . A regional GAT training is in the plans. Currently we are trying to organize the training to take place in March at Sun Meadows Resort. . Efforts will be made to increase subscribers to the AANR-NW online news. . We will continue to build and create new partnerships within our communities, counties and states. . We will support AANR GAT and other regions in their work to promote, preserve and protect nudist rights. . We will continue to solicit GAT contacts in local communities within our region.<br>AANR GAT Chair Alonzo Stevens is in the process of planning an AANR GAT training to be held February 20-21 at Paradise Lakes near Tampa, Florida. The AANR-NW Board of directors voted to include finances to send the AANR-NW GAT Chair and two other GAT volunteers to this training. We are currently soliciting nominations for volunteers that have shown a dedication and commitment to AANR-NW GAT. <br>At the AANR-NW Fall Board meeting it was voted on to send $500 to the Wreck Beach Preservation Society's efforts to protect Wreck Beach.<br>The watercolor donated by Henry Yuen will be a traveling fundraiser. Sharon McLeod volunteered to take the painting on the first piece of the journey within our region. The last painting Henry donated raised over $600 to support our Government Affairs Team.<br>Thanks to AANR-NW dues paying members and Friends of AANR who contribute so much-so often to the success of AANR-NW GAT. <br><br><br><br><br> </td>
