OR Parks Conf. Features Our Cleanups
=20 The Oregon Parks and Recreation (ORPA) 2004 Conference will be held at Kah-Nee-Ta High Desert Resort in Warm Springs, Oregon. Volunteers Nancy and Paul Kuntzmann will represent AANR and AANR-NW. The 4-day conference runs September 19-22. In fifty years ORPA has grown to over 600 members. =20 This years conference brochure includes a =BD page article captioned "Fans of Nude Recreation Hit the Beach for Cleanups" and the ever popular SOLV "nude but not nude" photo taken at the SOLV sponsored "Down by the Riverside" event at Rooster Rock beach clean up. Thanks to Paul Kuntzmann and Sharon McLeod who prepared the article. While we hoped it would be included in the brochure it was great to see the photo. The same photo will be used at the informational booth. The photo shows a partnership not only with the State Parks Dept. but SOLV since the garbage bags are what provide the cover making it a "nude but not nude photo."<br>AANR-NW informational booth will join over 40 venders in the exhibit hall to educate and raise awareness about nude recreation. It was at this venue in 2002 that a Rooster Rock State Park employee suggested we would be a great partner to works towards preserving and protecting Rooster Rock State Park nude beach approached AANR-NW.<br><br> </td>
